In calendar week 37, we – Schubert Maschinen und Anlagenbau GmbH, part of the Schubert Group in Ennepetal – dispatched an impressive machine system to a customer: an STS 600, a high‑performance shear for processing bar stock.
The scale of this delivery was exceptional: five trucks were required to safely transport the complete system, consisting of the main machine and extensive peripheral equipment, to its destination.
Technology from the Heart of the Ennepe‑Ruhr District
For decades, Ennepetal has stood for precision, engineering excellence, and mechanical engineering at the highest level. The STS 600 is yet another example of the innovative strength that originates in our region – developed and manufactured by our highly skilled specialists who truly master their craft.
A Powerhouse for Precision Cutting
Our STS 600 is designed for volume‑ or length‑accurate cutting of bar stock with round or square cross‑sections.
With a shearing force of 6,000 kN, a stroke rate of 48/min, and a maximum shear diameter of 110 mm at a material strength of 650 N/mm², it delivers top‑tier performance.
Technical Highlights of the STS 600
Complete System for Maximum Productivity
In addition to the main machine, we delivered a comprehensive feeding and discharge system, consisting of:
This combination enables fully automated operation with high output and consistent cutting quality.
A Milestone in Precision and Performance
With the delivery of this STS 600, we once again underline our expertise in building powerful, durable, and efficient systems for the metal‑processing industry.
At the customer’s site, our machine will ensure maximum productivity and precision – even under the most demanding material requirements.
