The coil unit, as the first module, processes wire to directional lengths. A double straightening guarantees the consistent quality of the wire. The second module represents the shearing and cutting unit. The hydraulically driven shears have a wire clamping station and thus ensure a good shearing quality. The length of the section is measured by means of the drive rollers. With the standard system a narrow length tolerance is achieved. Depending on the task, the sections can be sorted by tape into containers or otherwise distributed / collected. Another interesting module stage is a bending station. The sections entering from the scissors can be bent over bending heads up to 360 °, also asymmetrical. The basic equipment of the coil unit includes a hydraulic unit and the machine control with touch display. Due to the modular design, the entire system is highly flexible and can be further expanded in individual steps.
