The EXNER hydraulic press PG-4 “four drive axes” is a coordinated tool testing press that meets all requirements in the field of modern tooling technology. The tool testing press type PG-4 has 4 symmetrically arranged hydraulic cylinders, which ensure a synchronization of the ram to the table surface by means of a CNC control.
The hydraulic cylinders are Special constructions, which by Avoiding the stick-slip effect, especially enable low-friction movements. These are for the delicate control of highly dynamic processes indispensable. Hereby it is possible that in all Stress situations the parallelism over the entire table width in the area less 1/10 mm (0.1 mm) is realized. To enable such accuracy, the 4 absolute displacement measuring systems are suspended in subframes in subframes and the elastic expansion of the components during pressure build-up is included in the measurements.
